Different types of surgeries that have been performed at Ludhiana Mediways, the best cosmetic surgery hospital in India so far include:

Procedures commonly performed in plastic surgery

Using Dermabrasion

Using a high-speed rotating brush, dermabrasion removes the top layer of the skin gently. As a result of dermabrasion, acne scars, age spots, sun-damaged skin, wrinkles, lesions, crow’s feet, etc., gradually heal and form new skin.

A Liposuction Procedure

Body fat is removed by liposuction in order to improve the shape of the body. In tumescent liposuction, a solution containing local anaesthetic and epinephrine is injected into the target area of excessive fat deposits. The liquid and fat are then suctioned out using instruments called cannulas. In ultrasonic-assisted liposuction, the cannula releases ultrasonic energy to break up fat deposits, which are then suctioned out of the body.

The Rhinoplasty Procedure

In a rhinoplasty, the nose is reshaped for cosmetic reasons as well as to correct breathing or birth defects. Some bruising may occur after the surgery, but it fades away after a few days.

An Rhytidectomy

For a youthful appearance, a rhytidectomy or facelift tightens the skin of the face, smooths deep wrinkles, and minimises sagging.

Lip Augmentation

ndividuals seeking fuller lips can undergo lip augmentation. An injectable dermal filler is used by the surgeon to increase the volume, structure, and shape of the lips. The procedure does not produce permanent results. If the shape and volume of the lips are not restored after six months, a second procedure may be necessary.

Treatment for Gynecomastia

If drug use is the cause of gynaecomastia, the patient must stop using the drug prior to surgery. Gynaecomastia is a condition in which the male breast tissue is too large.

Surgery Preparation

It depends on the type of surgery you had and the type of anesthesia you received. Plastic surgery may require multiple steps. Before undergoing the procedure, discuss the following considerations with your surgeon:

  • Consult the surgeon about the procedure’s benefits, risks, and outcomes.
  • The type of anesthesia to be administered during the procedure and its recovery time should be discussed.
  • Please inform your physician of any medications you are currently taking or allergies you may have
  • You should discuss any post-operative instructions, such as cleanliness and beauty, as well as medications, with your doctor.
  • On the day of surgery, you should not wear any makeup or make eye contact.
  • Make sure all jewelry is removed.
  • If you wear dentures or other prosthetic devices, inform the medical staff.
  • Prior to surgery, you should stop drinking and eating.
  • It is also important to follow up after surgery.
